Concepts are similar

If you have played any of the Major Sports (NFL, NBA, MLB) on Draft Kings or FanDuel there is really nothing holding you back from playing PGA or any other sport. Having spent my leisure hours over the past few years fine tuning my process in building successful line-ups I figured I would venture off into another sport

 What are the similarities?

First and foremost, having access to information is paramount. I find that many of the tools-based sites that provide projections and optimizers are the best place to start. They often have strategy articles, best practices, current information on health of players etc. I am a huge fan of what I consider the top 3 DailyRoto, RotoGrinders and Fantasy Labs as a source of information and tools. It really comes down to your user preference and desired interface that separates these tools.

Basic Concepts

Understanding the basic concepts of Daily Fantasy Sports gives you a head start. Start by educating yourself on the scoring system in comparison to the player selections. Bonus points, Vegas odds, and historical production will assist you in determining your player pool.

Next up is Ownership, something that is paramount when playing GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pools) slates. Leverage is universal. Overweighting or fading concepts apply everywhere. Your prior experience becomes invaluable here when creating lineups to take down any tournament.

Finding value is also a consistent metric across sports. Value plays enable you to fit the chalky plays in your lineup. Value

Details

Next level analysis consists of breaking down players, matchups, and of course venue advantages. To start simply identifying one detail that can separate you from the field, and as you get comfortable, move on to the next detail and so on.

Start Small

So, our approach is find the tournaments that have low entry fees to refine your process. There are contests with entry fees as low .05 cents. We recommend mini max contests (.25 cents) for MME (Mass Multi-Entry) of 150 lineups.
