The Purpose of an Optimizer
There are many intuitive, user friendly, and feature rich Optimizers in the marketplace. Two of my Favorites are Daily Roto and Roto Grinders Lineup HQ. Commanding the optimizer takes practice and lots of re-runs before submitting lineups to your favorite DFS operator. The goal is to maximize your lineup outcomes by letting the tool enforce the rules. The operator slate rules are simple, yet the vast combinations of applying these rules is where the optimizer shows its value. Some of these rules are 50k Salary Max, Correct Positioning, managing exposures and lastly using projections to create the highest projected lineups.
Feed the Optimizer
Optimizers can pick the players for you, but is that what you really want? You do the research and the optimizer shows you something different? Do not let all the research go to waste. Consistency may drive your player pool for Cash Games.
